At LionLeaf we have developed a mature process honed from building hundreds of custom web applications for organizations of all sizes. We utilize the following three step process.
- Business Analysis and Specifications Development: This is the foundation for all of our web application development projects. During this stage we work with you to define the problem you are trying to solve and to determine all of the details around the solution that should be built. The deliverable at this phase is a specifications document in Microsoft Word format. This is an iterative process and very rarely is the first version of the specifications document the final version. We work with you to refine this specifications document until it represents a fully fleshed out solution and is ready for development. Building a web site application is like building a house, if you don’t have a good plan in place it sets you up for failure. This first phase of the process helps ensure a successful outcome by ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
- Implementation: Once the specification is finalized we get to work actually building it. We have a refined quality assurance process that helps minimize bugs before the application is presented for your review. Once it’s in your hands for review we typically have a few rounds of revisions to address any feedback.
- Maintenance: An important part of most web applications is ongoing support. Once your web application is built we switch into a maintenance role. This includes making minor changes or doing larger additions to the application. We pride ourselves on providing an extraordinary level of customer support.
